Mrs. Haleigh Truman (Goff)

Welcome to my class! 

I’m an enthusiastic educator with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Missouri Baptist University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Eastern Kentucky University. I’m passionate about fostering growth and learning, and I believe that every student can thrive with the right guidance and encouragement.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy gardening, reading, and organizing. At home, my husband and I share our life with our beloved cat, Keira. She keeps us entertained and covered in tiny bites and scratches. During our virtual learning year, she became known as "Professor Keira", and always sat right in front of the computer camera. Maybe she can sub for me this year?

I currently teach English 2, Journalism 1, and Yearbook at Hazelwood East High School, where I’m also the proud sponsor of the fishing club. This is my eighth year at East, and I love being involved in our school community—I am VERY #ProudToBeEast!
